Our very first litter born July 29, 1999

At Painted Mountain Ranch our goal is to breed top quality, sound Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs with excellent temperaments for the show ring and for loving companions. All of our breeding dogs have achieved or are working towards their championship in the AKC conformation ring and have had their hips (OFA, PennHIP), elbows (OFA), shoulders (OFA) and eyes (CERF) tested. We are always striving for longevity, health, sound temperament and structure with substance! We take special care to socialize each and every puppy and to match that puppy with the appropriate home, whether for family pet, working, obedience, or show and breeding. Because of our love for this breed, all pet/companion puppies are sold with an AKC limited registration and the requirement that the puppy be spayed or neutered.
