Welcome to Painted Mountain Ranch! Thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit. Our Ranch is located 15 miles outside of Shelton  Washington.  The City of Shelton is 20 miles northwest of Olympia on the shores of Oakland Bay of the southern Puget Sound.  Painted Mountain specializes in raising, showing and breeding quality Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. It is our goal to produce athletic, healthy and versatile Swissys. 

We have been loving and showing Swissys since 1996. Our Swissys are a part of the family and share all aspects of our lives. We have found the Swissy to be a wonderful family dog and a versatile working dog, however this is not a breed that is right for everyone. If you are interested in the breed please do continue to research the breed's characteristics, ask lots of questions and most importantly meet some adult Swissys in person!
